Superhero’s Unite

Maybe some of you will remember my blog post on June 20th called A Reason To Do Better.  It was about the cutest little boy named George.

George’s family is participating in Cure Search Super Hero’s Unite walk on August 25th here in Salt Lake City at Sugar House Park.  If your family needs a fun activity where you can also teach your kids about loving and supporting kids with cancer, I encourage you to sign up.  This charity is just under the half-way mark of donations too.  So if you can’t make it there that day, please consider a donation in George’s behalf.  You can also sign up to be a virtual walker.

When we unite together, even a lot of $5 donations can go a long way.  My family is excited to help support George.  We have our costumes all ready!

And my kids and I plan to have a few bake sales this week and donate all the proceeds to this charity.

George is doing awesome today, and one reason is because of the many charities that support kids with cancer.  This is a little way to give back.

Thank you for reading my post today.  This little guy’s mom and my husband are friends from their LDS missions in Spain.  I appreciate anything anyone can give.  And if you can’t give anything right now, you can give a prayer that George’s cancer can stay in remission for a long time.

Have a wonderful Monday!  Now let’s go save the world!

Life is Good.  Share the Good.
